Okay, so my work dress code is pretty casual (in winter, I can get away with wearing jeans every day, unless we have meetings or someone is coming to the office…then the big guns come out, aka suit, heels and major hair straightening).
So, its summer…and we’re in Northern California, and its pretty much hot every day. Currently its a touch above a hundred degrees. For me, anything above 95 is about the same. Its hot, its dry, stop complaining. We don’t have humidity here, so I don’t think its as completely awful as it could be.
So, with that, I thought i’d share my summer outfit: Tank top (normal), denim skirt (normal), chucks (okay, I guess), and fleece jacket (wait a second here…).
What I didn’t say was the temperature inside my office is a bright and chilly 60 degrees. When I leave at the end of the day, I have to remind myself to take off my fleece jacket because it is actually WARM outside!
